Our safety does not rest in the hands of one person of government agency alone. It rests in our very hands as we put them together on the concerted effort of building safer, adaptive and resilient communities.

Other official preparedness organizations all agree that “Drop Cover and Hold On” is the action to reduce injury and death during earthquake. Earthquake drill is a way to practice the earthquake. There’s a lot of person that the earthquake drill is just a drill they are not serious about this. But this earthquake drill is may give you a false sense of safety, you didn’t do anything or you run outside, yet you or we survive without injury. Why drop, Cover and Hold? This is the best way to protect your self during the earthquake drill.

Let us keep an actively participating in the next earthquake drills as well as engage in DRRM activities in our localities, school and etc.
