4th Quarter Memories

         In this 4th quarter and the last quarter of being a Special Science Class Student.

      In this quarter, we have only a limited time because there's a lot of activities in school and excuses for having a practice of High School Day and etc. But we need to rush all the lessons. It was hard to rush lessons cause we have only a limited time but I/we need to manage our time.

      In ICT 4th quarter. I learned how to be creative, like when we making a photoshop we need to make sure that our activity is creative in a way of imagination. Sometimes i'm trying my best so that my activity is good and creative with the help of my friend and classmates.

      Moving on, i will never forget all the lessons and memories that we made in ICT room. The lessons that our teacher teach us. I will never forget also my second family and second home. And i will also never forget the lessons that my teacher told to us.

Chase your Dream

              All of us have a dream. The way to pursue your dream is you should have to on your study.

            When I was a child, my dream is to become a teacher but I am not very good in writing and dealing with a lot of people or I’m shy (HUMSS). But now I want to become a nurse even if I’m afraid of blood but I’m trying my best. We must face what we fear.

            We didn’t have much income but I want to help my parents in the way that I will be a working student. If I will become a successful someday I want to return the sacrifices of my parents and I want my parents be proud of who am I in the future.

            I want to face all my fears in my life just to become a successful someday. I will do all my best. Mostly of us don’t have an income in their study but their still studying and their trying their best to become a successful someday.

Aim High Soar Fly

In school, we always celebrated the High School Day. Different school gives interesting activities. All are fond to make enjoyment to each and everyone. High School Day is celebrated in 2 days.

Ilocos Sur National High School celebrates High School Day once every school year. By which celebrated before the end of the school year. It was indeed a day to remember for me and a day well spent during the Coronation Day. After that, the guest speaker sent his speech and the event has begun. The grade 7-12 dancing competition. Each student has a smile in their faces during the performance.

Time flew so fast that it felt like the whole celebration was just an hour. But we cannot remove the memories that was built during the foundation day.

A place in Time

           Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is one of the famous festival in Ilocos Sur. It celebrates Ilocos Dur abundant culture and traditions, and its separation from Ilocos Norte.

            Numerous exciting activities and shows will be featured during the span of the festivals. The example of activities are streetdancing, Bonsai, Pinaka and the One Town One Product. And also there’s a lot of artists that come in our city and I am proud that I see them.

            Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is also time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilosos Sur. It is also a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the first week of February. Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino.

A time to Change

It starts with a hope, or a thought that things can be better than they are now. Then, exploring how that might happen. Accepting that we do have the power to make change. It’s doing this versus dwelling on the negative, blaming others, shutting down new ideas, thinking its not worth the effort or whatever other negative self. Talk may be taking place. All those things cause us to be stuck

I can’t control the dialogue with myself. If I’m response to everything is “I can’t, I can’t, you will stop change from happening. I admit, I’ve been guilty of this before. What I needed to do was turn around to really believe the “change start with you”

            It’s usually pretty strong reaction to something. This is when change makes you, because you are confronted with something. Stress, or a specific situation.

Viva! Vigan!

     Within the Vigan City Fiesta Days the longganisa Festival is also celebrated. The city has a longganisa theme parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made.

        Vigan is a popular tourist destination here in Ilocos Sur because of its museums and architecture. Still, it is also known for its longganisa which is a local kind of salami. The dish is made in accordance with a century old tradition and has a truly unique taste.

      In late January, the Vigan celebrates City Fiesta and Longganisa Festival is included in the festival program. It’s celebrated around January 22-25 the dates vary from year to year. During the festival , every tourist has a chance to try the longganisa from Vigan.

First Chapter In My Life

New Year has come, new things will come, new feelings will be felt. New Year! New Me?

            New Year was always celebrated by families. Each family having their own tradition and meet the new year every 12:00 AM on the first day of the year. Back when I was child, I enjoy every Christmas and New Year. But when I’m getting older, I can’t even see or feel the essence of New Year and Christmas. Every New Year, I have my own new year’s resolution but sometimes I can’t do all but I’m trying my best to be New. Sometimes I just gonna go with the flow but I surely check if I’m doing thing in the better path.

            This is the time to release things we don’t want in our lives and live happily. As we get older we should always remember the essence of the New Year.
